Esta normativa, que pretendía modernizar y ampliar el desfasado catálogo ortoprotésico, ha acabado centrándose en un solo objetivo, el recorte económico, sin atención a la calidad o a la extensión universal de la cobertura de la prestación.
La Federación calcula que al menos un 40% de las referencias en el mercado quedarán fuera del catálogo. Los especialistas no podrán prescribirlos.
